I have developed numerous workshops, both lecture style and interactive, that explore how teams can better understand and work with one another, through the lens of trauma sensitivity & healing. By learning how to pay attention to our own compassion fatigue and nervous system responses, we can learn how to regulate, communicate, and engage better through our triggered and tired out moments; making more connected and accomplished communities.

 

Traumatic and high stress triggers are a common part of life for many of us, (60% of Arizonan adults alone)*. But it’s not yet common practice to learn how to be aware of the signs and signals of trauma responses, or how to navigate the tumultuous feelings we may experience when we go to our fight or flight mode. This learning and skill building is becoming an essential need across all workplaces, business sectors, and communities.

Training and Consultation is appropriate for a variety of environments including clinical settings, nonprofit settings, school settings, and business settings; and can be tailored to your community’s needs.

Consultation can also be provided in small group settings to work on more specific goals, practices, or policies to help encourage a workspace that is a more equitable, supportive, and connected.
